This 18 Days Tracking Gorillas Uganda Experience tour gives you a chance to tranverse Uganda, doing a variety of activities, each destination is like no other, you will have a chance to make short hikes, track gorillas and chimps, and do wildlife game viewing with a mix of community encounters to meet with the local people.
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Hotel for dinner & overnight at The Boma. Dinner only
Day 2: Mt Elgon National Park
After breakfast, drive to Mt Elgon National park located East of Uganda. Mt Elgon is one the beautiful volcanoes that is shared with Uganda and Kenya. On arrival take a nature walk to the base of the sipi falls. Dinner and overnight at Rafiki Lodge. FB
Day 3: Hike Mt Elgon
After breakfast take a nature walk hiking Mt Elgon, with beautiful sceneries to see. After lunch then continue on the adventure journey to Jinja. Dinner and overnight at The Haven Lodge. BLD
Day 4: Explore the Source of the Nile
Today, explore the Nile, with a number of activities that you can do.
Visit the sorce of the River Nile, but a boat ride to the actual source is so rewarding, you will get to see where the Nile actually outflows from Lake Victoria, north till it pours into the meditteranian sea.
For adventure lovers, you can enjoy the nile be doing white water rafting a 5 grade or do more water activities.

Day 5: The Rhinos of Ziwa sanctuary - Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, leave for Murchison Falls National Park via Kampala. On a panoramic drive northwest you stop at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for a nature walk to see rhinos in their wild, a unique experience of Uganda. The journey is long but enjoyable as you go through the typical Ugandan homestead and farms. Dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison. BLD
Murchison Falls National Park, the largest park in Uganda, it derives its name from the Mighty Murchison Falls. The sight on the top of the spectacular falls is stunning as it reviles the Nile’s perfected beauty, you will marvel as it compresses and squeezes itself from over 1 kilometer wide down through an 8-meter canyon, to make 43-meter drop of the falls creating a thunderous roar and a beautiful rainbow in a plume of spray – the best thing to ever happen to the Nile. Dinner and overnight at Fort Murchison. BLD
Day 6: Explore Murchison Falls National Park
Have breakfast quite early so be on time for the morning game drive in pakuba, part of the park, the game drive will reward you wildlife such as the giraffes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, oribs and more. After lunch, you will safari upstream by boat to the calm Victoria Nile and the base of the falls just ten meters from the “Devil’s Cauldron.” There you can marvel at toothsome hippos, crocodiles and over the 17-kilometer stretch you may also see elephants, waterbucks and Uganda kobs, you will be able to spot many birds like the kingfisher, Hornbills, Egyptian geese, pelican bee eater, and many more. Once at the bottom of the falls, you can hike to the top of the falls for sightseeing. Return to Fort Murchison for dinner and overnight. BLD
Day 7: Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast drive Kibale Forest National Park, drive through Hoima, the town of the Bunyoro kingdom, passing though verdant countryside, tea plantations and traditional homesteads. You arrive at the colorful and pretty town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Toro kingdom, in the shadow of the fabled “Mountains of the Moon” (Rwenzori). Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest Camp. BLD
Day 8: Chimp Tracking
After breakfast, go for chimp tracking in their wild. You will meet at the headquarters for briefing and be assigned a ranger that will take you on the tracking experience. You will spend an hour with the chimps, the closest to humans.
After take a nature walk in Bigodi swamp for a nature's experience. You will likely spot some monkeys, birds, and visit the local community. Dinner and overnight at Kibale Forest National Park. FB
Day 9: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After early breakfast, proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park, with the views of the Mountains of the moon. On the way do not miss the beauty of the Kasenda Crater Lakes, which dominates all the surrounding areas with incredible panoramic views, arriving early for lunch at Lodge, with its wonderful location on top of the Mweya peninsula for scenic viewing, also visit the katwe crater area, and salt mines for an opportunity to interact with the local people. Dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge. FB
Day 10: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early in the morning take breakfast and headout to a morning game drive, targeting the early risers, looking out for the elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, lions, leopards.
In the afternoon, enjoy the unique two-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that links Lake George and Lake Edward. has a big concentration of hippos that are well seen during the cruise, other wildlife like the elephants, buffaloes can be sighted the bank as they come to quench their thirst and number of bird spottings. Return to the lodge of dinner and overnight at Bush Lodge. BLD
Day 11: Carnivore Tracking
After a cup of coffee embark on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi tracks and Queens mile in the park for carnivore tracking specifically the lions, which gives visitors an experience like no other. As you track the lions you will have more opportunity to see more wildlife.
Proceed to Ishasha for game viewing, looking out for the rare tree climbing lions which you can see only in this area of Uganda. Here lives a population of lions who enjoy resting on the fig trees when the day is warm.Dinner and overnight at the Bush Lodge. BLD
Day 12: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a natural hub for the mountain gorillas, and other bird life. Upon arrival visit the local community for a moment with the local people, you will be invited to particiate in their activities like dancing, weaving and the general way of life. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge. BLD
Day 13: Encounter with Mountains Gorillas
(There can either track gorillas or do a gorilla Habituation Experience)
After breakfast, there is an early morning ententer into Bwindi Forest after being briefed on safety protocols to track the mountain gorillas, this rainforest is spectacular as it offers a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access for tourists, the you take tracking varies according to the terrain and the movement of these marvelous primates. The thrill of spending time specificall 1 hour, with the gorillas and observing them moving, interacting with one another is unspeakble. As you watch them, you are mostly likely to see the silverback, the babies that lighten up the families moments which is an awesome and exciting adventure. Dinner and overnight Rushaga Gorilla Lodge. Day 14: Golden Monkeys/ Batwa Cultural Trail/ Mt Muhavura Hiking
After breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for Golden Monkey Tracking or Batwa Cultural Experience or Hike on Mt Muhavura or second gorilla tracking. Dinner and overnight at Ichumbi Hotel. FB
Day 15: The Wonderful Lake Bunyonyi
Take breakfast before proceed to Lake Bunyonyi. The unique and amazing panoramic view of the Lake Bunyonyi is just stunning, housing many islands provides a beautiful landscape. Enjoy the lake but a boat cruise on the lake visiting various islands for bird viewing and sight seeing. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Lake bunyonyi Rock Resort BLD
Day 16: Lake Mburo National Park
After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest in Uganda in size. Afternoon game drives in search of the beautiful impalas, zebras, cape buffalos, elands, oribi and topi, followed by boat trip on Lake Mburo, with more game viewing opportunities and lots of birds to see such as the brown faced lapwing, papyrus gonoleks, white winged warbler, and more. Dinner and overnight at the Rwakobo Rock. BLD
Day 17: Mabamba Wetland
After breakfast drive to the shores of Lake Victoria to catch a boat to Mabamba for shoebill viewing. Return in the afternoon Spend the day relaxing in the uncontaminated and transparent environment. Dinner and overnight at The Boma Entebbe. Full board
Day 18- Departure
Reserved for the transfer to Entebbe International Airport, carrying home great memories of the great Tracking Gorilla experience.

When cancellations happen due to reasons beyond your control, its understandable, we consider you.
However we are dealign with other service provider who have their own cancellation policies that we adhere to, so incase there is a cancel we will be guided by the cancellation policies. If cancellations are done closer to the start of the safari or during the safari, there will be no refund.
