    Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and briefed about your adventure. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short city tour including key landmarks before departing for Akagera National Park, Rwanda's only savannah national park and home to the Big Five. The scenic drive takes you through Rwanda's beautiful countryside characterized by rolling hills, farmlands, and traditional villages.     Rise early for a thrilling game drive through the diverse landscapes of Akagera National Park. The park boasts open savannah, wetlands, woodlands, and numerous lakes that support an impressive variety of wildlife.     Today marks the highlight of your Rwanda safari. After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking guidelines. The trek may take anywhere from one to several hours, depending on the gorillas' movements. Once found, spend a precious hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat.
