    Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be welcomed by your Gorilla Hour Uganda safari guide. Embark on a brief tour of Kigali, one of Africa's cleanest and most vibrant cities. Sites to visit, Kigali City Centre and Kigali Genocide Memorial   After lunch, depart Kigali and enjoy a scenic drive north through Rwanda's picturesque countryside. The journey offers spectacular views of terraced hillsides, rural villages, and rolling landscapes that have earned Rwanda its nickname, "The Land of a Thousand Hills." Arrive at Volcanoes National Park in the evening and check in to your lodge. Dinner & Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. Dinner only
    After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for a briefing by park rangers. You will be assigned a gorilla family and guided into the forest by experienced trackers and armed rangers. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. As you hike through bamboo forests and volcanic slopes, your guides will share fascinating insights about the park's ecology and the gorillas' behavior. The highlight comes when you finally encounter a gorilla family in their natural habitat. Spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants as they feed, groom, rest, and interact with one another. Watching a silverback protect his family or young gorillas playing nearby is a wildlife experience few people ever forget. After your gorilla trekking adventure, a visit to Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village  is the perfect way to round out the day with human connection and storytelling.
    Visit local communities and learn about Rwanda's traditions, music, dance, and conservation efforts. Engage with former poachers who have become conservation ambassadors and gain insight into how tourism supports local livelihoods. Return to the lodge for relaxation and reflection on the day's extraordinary encounter

    After breakfast, you will transfer to the park for  historical and emotional hike through lush forest to the resting place of Dian Fossey, the legendary primatologist who dedicated her life to protecting mountain gorillas. the trek takes you through the Misty forest trails and volcanic slopes to Karisoke Research Center, where you learn of the conservation stories. OR Golden Monkey Tracking Head back into Volcanoes National Park to track the endangered golden monkeys. These lively and colorful primates are endemic to the Virunga Mountains and offer fantastic photographic opportunities as they leap through bamboo forests. A lively trek into bamboo forests to observe endangered golden monkeys, known for their playful behavior and striking golden-orange fur. Observe the fast-moving monkeys leaping through bamboo—ideal for action shots, Close-ups of expressive faces and vibrant fur, Group dynamics—capturing multiple monkeys in one frame.
    Enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out and beginning the drive back to Kigali. As your safari comes to an end, you'll leave Rwanda with unforgettable memories of mountain gorillas, beautiful landscapes, and warm hospitality.
