Day 1: Arrival in Kigali - Transfer to Volcanoes National Park

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will be welcomed by your safari guide and briefed about your upcoming adventure. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a short city tour including key cultural and historical sites before departing for Volcanoes National Park. The drive takes you through Rwanda's picturesque countryside, passing rolling hills, terraced farms, and vibrant rural communities. Arrive at your lodge nestled at the foothills of the Virunga Mountains and spend the evening relaxing amidst spectacular volcanic scenery. Accommodation: Mountain Gorilla View Lodge. Dinner Only

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park

After an early breakfast, proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by park rangers before embarking on the unforgettable mountain gorilla trekking experience. Accompanied by experienced guides and trackers, hike through the lush forests of Volcanoes National Park in search of a habituated gorilla family. Once located, spend one magical hour observing these gentle giants in their natural habitat. Watch silverbacks, mothers, and playful juveniles interact in one of Africa's most extraordinary wildlife encounters. Return to the lodge for lunch and relaxation after your trek. Day 3: Cultural Experience - Lake Kivu

Morning after breakfast, visit the Iby'Iwacu cultural village for a cultural experience where you learn about local people, traditions, traditional dances, and Rwandan life. departure (about 1.5–2 hours drive) through breathtaking hilly countryside to Lake Kivu, one of Africa's Great Lakes and Rwanda's premier lakeside destination. Day 4 & 5: Leisure & Activities at Lake Kivu

Spend the day exploring the beauty of Lake Kivu at your own pace. Optional activities include a boat cruise to nearby islands, kayaking, swimming, cycling along the Congo Nile Trail, coffee tours, bird watching, or simply relaxing by the lakeshore. The lake's tranquil atmosphere, stunning sunsets, and beautiful landscapes provide the perfect complement to your gorilla trekking adventure. Day 6: Return to Kigali & Departure

Enjoy breakfast overlooking the lake before departing for Kigali. Along the scenic drive, admire Rwanda's breathtaking landscapes often referred to as the "Land of a Thousand Hills." Upon arrival in Kigali, depending on your flight schedule, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local craft markets, or enjoy lunch at one of the city's excellent restaurants before your transfer to the airport for departure.
