Gorilla trekking can be moderately challenging or physically demanding depending on where the gorilla family is located, which in most cases is not predictable. You can not know beforehand where they are, and therefore you don’t just walk there. Secondly, mountain gorillas move a lot, looking for food and also looking for a nice location to camp for the night since they make new nests every day; it’s hard to tell where they will be, but trackers can have clues.
